Os mántidos (Mantidae) son unha gran familia de insectos da orde Mantodea. Trátase da familia máis numerosa de barbantesas. Pertence á superfamilia Mantoidea, que comparte con Hymenopodidae e Empusidae. Son principalmente de rexións tropicais e subtropicais.
