Italia Per quanto riguarda la penisola italiana, esso attraversa complessivamente tre regioni: le Marche, l'Umbria e la Toscana, congiungendo l'Adriatico ed il Tirreno. La cittadina di Grottammare ed il golfo di Baratti sono presi come riferimento per le due coste.
