Edward de Bono (nascut lo 19 mai de 1933 a Malta) es un psicològ, un mètge e un especialista en sciéncias cognitivas.
Conegut subretot per son concèpte de pensada laterala.
Intervenent coma consultant prèp de grandas companhiás (coma Coca-Cola o Ericsson) o d'òmes politics, aplica sos metòdes e lor fa trobar de solucions originalas als problèmas que se li confisa. S'apuèja subretot sus de tecnicas de creativitat qu'inventèt en utilizant sus de resultats de las neurosciéncias, e que permeton de sortit la soscassa dels condicionaments de l'abitud. Sas tecnicas son relativament simples d'usatge e d'una bona eficacitat practica.
