Quinn Slobodian (Edmonton, Alberta, 1978) é um historiador canadense especializado em História da Alemanha moderna e História Internacional. Leciona História Internacional na Universidade de Boston. Foi Professor Marion Butler McLean de História das ideias no Wellesley College e residential fellow no Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, da Universidade Harvard. Biografia Quinn Slobodian nasceu em 1978 em Edmonton, Alberta. Seu pai era médico. A família mudou-se para a Ilha de Vancouver em 1981 e para o Lesoto, no sul da África alguns anos depois. Eles partiram para Vanuatu no Pacífico Sul, em 1992, e retornaram ao Canadá um ano depois.
Slobodian começou a estudar história, com uma bolsa de estudos, no Lewis & Clark College, e graduou-se em 2000. Obteve seu doutorado pela Universidade de Nova York, em 2008.
Entre 2013 e 2014, foi fellow no Dahlem Humanities Centre da Freie Universität Berlin.
Em 2015, tornou-se Professor Marion Butler McLean de História das Ideias, no Wellesley College. Interrompeu sua carreira de professor em 2017 para trabalhar por um ano como visiting fellow no Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Universidade Harvard.Quinn Slobodian.
