Armadillo — род мокриц из семейства Armadillidae. Характерная особенность — способность сворачиваться в плотный шар в случае опасности, в связи с чем их часто именуют «мокрицами-броненосцами» . Типовой вид — мокрица-броненосец лекарственная (Armadillo officinalis).
