Laphystiopsidae — семейство морских бокоплавов.
Описание Тело слегка расширено, с мелкими или крупными дорсальными зубцами на нескольких плеонитах. Рострум большой и плоский или отсутствует. Антенны удлиненные, первая длиннее второй, жгутики с 5+ члениками; дополнительный жгутик отсутствует. Ротовой аппарат квадратно развит (коробчатый). Эпистом и лабрум широкие, короткие, мелко надрезанные.
