Halton Christian Arp (* 21. marec 1927, New York, USA† 28. december 2013, Mníchov, NemeckoBig-bang-defying giant of astronomy passes away) bol americký astronóm, ktorý sa zaoberal najmä červeným posunom kvazarov. Pracoval v hvezdárňach Mount Wilson a Palomar Observatory ako žiak Edwina Hubblea.
