Robert Erskine Childers, nado o 25 de xuño de 1870 e asasinado o 24 de novembro de 1922, foi un escritor e activista nacionalista irlandés.
Traxectoria Era o fillo do erudito orientalista británico Robert Caesar Childers, curmán de Hugh Childers e Robert Barton, e pai do cuarto presidente de Irlanda, Erskine Hamilton Childers.
É ben coñecido pola súa novela The Riddle of the Sands. A súa condición de nacionalista irlandés levouno a ser executado polo emerxente Irish Free State durante a Guerra Civil Irlandesa.
