A varjúháj (Sedum) a kőtörőfű-virágúak (Saxifragales) rendjébe, ezen belül a varjúhájfélék (Crassulaceae) családjába és a fáskövirózsa-formák (Sempervivoideae) alcsaládjába tartozó nemzetség.
