John William Strutt, 3en Baron Rayleigh (12 de novembre de 1842, 30 de junh de 1919) foguèt un nòble e fisician britanic. Recebèt lo Prèmi Nobel de Fisica en 1904 per la descobèrta, amb William Ramsay, de l'element quimic nomenat argon.
