Stilipedidae — семейство морских бокоплавов.
Описание Тело сжатое, дорсальные зубы присутствуют или ограничены уросомой. Рострум очень маленький. Антенны умеренно удлиненные, жгутики с 5+ члениками; дополнительный жгутик 0-1 членистый. Ротовой аппарат имеет квадратную форму (коробчатую). Эпистом и лабрум широкие, короткие, надрезанные или лопастные. Резцы мандибулы чрезвычайно широкие, гладкие или зубчатые; ряд гребней присутствует или отсутствует; моляр отсутствует; щупики всегда присутствуют, 3-членистые. Нижняя губа со слабыми внутренними лопастями, наружные лопасти широко разнесены, без выраженных внутренних выемок.
